Will the widget slow down my site?

No. It loads asynchronously after the page is interactive, runs <60KB gzipped of JS, and never blocks rendering.

Can I customise the AI's tone and rules?

Yes โ€” via AI Instructions in /manage. Per-surface (admin / customer / writing) instructions, with a live preview that shows the exact rendered prompt the AI will receive.

What happens when the AI doesn't know?

It says so and offers handoff. Configurable: route to a department, queue for an agent, or create a ticket with the conversation attached.

Can the AI take actions for the customer?

Customer-surface AI is read-only by default for safety. You can register specific safe actions (e.g., "send tracking link") on the customer surface โ€” same action contract pattern as admin AI, with stricter permission gating.
